The Beat Farmers! You've probably never heard of them, but they ROCKED. Plenty of videos on Youtube. Worth a listen IMHO.

One of my most favorite bands from the 70's is still around today, although with a different line up. You might remember "SAVOY BROWN".Kim Simmonds, the founder and lead guitarist is incredible. I have met him at several shows and he alway's has time for a autograph or just to chat.I believe they have over 30 releases of which I am the proud owner of 23 plus a bootleg from a show I attended. They have no problem with a fan recording their shows, just give the sound man a cd and he'll hook you up.The original 70's band was of course rock but the newer stuff is more blues oriented. Kim also has several solo releases, the newest titled "out of the blue". If you go to his website there is a sound track playing a couple of the songs.Check them out, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy, Marty

It was an absolutely terrible night weather wise and even though I couldn't see them; sitting in my car outside the venue I could pretty much hear the entire concert. It was great but not the same as being in the venue.Wish I had been there!!! 0:)
