TAB Software
Here's an easy one http://digitaldreamdoor.nutsie.com/page ... 0_tab.html
you just click on the fretboard and it goes into tab
there may be others out there and even better?
there's also Guitar Tux which is free http://www.tuxguitar.com.ar/download.html and plays GuitarPro and PowerTab files
but I find the 1st one easier and it doesn't require downloading

I'd agree about Guitar Pro I have used it for years and tabbed many songs out all available at GProTab. I have used or looked at most other options out there and always come back to Guitar Pro. I haven't the same amount of time for tabbing these days shame cos I tab better than I play lol

I have and still have a copy, but I like the interface with Guitar Pro better, they are actually quite similar at the end of the day although I think the RSE feature of Guitar pro is very good
