I have a question on some of the chords to Brain Damage. Instead of the G7 Chord since it is a stretch can you use the High E string first fret and pick the B,G,and D notes open.
My other Question is at the end of the Chorus run can you use a Bm7, Em7, and A7 its seems to sound good to me and you don't have a Barre chord when I use that sequence and then go back to the Intro.
Thanks Neil, I love your site

Brain Damage Question
Marty,
You do not have to make the entire G7 chord. As long as you fret string 1 at fret 1, you are good to go. Obviously it is better to make the entire correct chord, but you can get away with it.
You should use the Bm chord. It has a different sound than the B7. Try this;
String 1 Fret 2
String 2 Fret 3
String 3 Fret 4
String 4 Fret 4
Do not play strings 5 and 6. A beginners Bm.
This song turned out way easier to play than I thought it would. Thanks Neil!
