Need help with Beg. Lesson #3 Lesson Notes

Don't understand how Neil is reading the lesson notes when he refers to "Lines". He plays a G,C,G,C twice in the beginning...I don't see how you read that on the notes...need help. Thx

G. Kane, I think he refers to the second line in the PDf file with the GCGC (where it says version 3 even though he said version 1). I think if you follow the chord progression on focussing on the beat,you will achieve the lesson goal.
