I picked this one up after my Washburn EA-20k (Koa) was stolen. (still brings a tear to my eye. I keep the serial number in my wallet and I pitty the person who has it if I ever spot it. Jail or not, he'll be in serious pain when I'm done with him.)
On to my Alvarez. It's not bad but it's not my Washburn. Acoustic/electric. I added the Alvarez ACM50 condenser mic that clips on one of the inside braces and plugs into the the back of the preamp. It adds some cool bottom end that I can't get without it. It looks like it's made of Koa but it's actually called, "Dao" (whatever that is) I think it's some sort of synthetic material. I'm playing it in my profile pic.
