Neil,
Can you tell me what tuning Stephen Stills plays Treetop flyer in? I noticed in one of your weekly news reports from a while ago, you played some riffs from it in open G. but.... you did'nt play the 5th string anyway. So is it double drop D then? I have found some mixed opinions on this. Some say it is in DADGAD. So now I am not sure. I hope you can help to clear this one up for me (and probably some others too) , thanks. Beaker.

Double Dropped D, 3 chords and a lot of improvising in D minor without the sixth step, D E F G A C, alternating bass on 6-4 strings throughout. Get those ears working...

Good Luck,

Neil
