Hello Tom,
My time available on the forum is very limited right now so I am so happy that I dialed in just in time to see this IGC post. I can only imagine how much time you have invested in learning this song. You mention that it wasn't very clean, and maybe you are correct to a certain point, but you have the foundation to really nail this beautiful song now! How fantastic... I can just see you setting beside a camp fire with several folks when it is your turn to do your thing and wham, here comes Vincent. You will blow everyone away with this instrumental! Very nice indeed.
Thank you for sharing and I hope to join you next year at camp and listen to you perform this song again in person! Maybe even around a camp fire like I imagined earlier. How great that would be!!!

Tom, you should be quite proud of that outro performance ... I was particularly impressed that you could use your fretting hand to scratch your nose (7min38) and not bat an eyelash.
Good to see you're doing well

Hello Tom
Great to hear your IGC news.
You've made some great progress with Vincent considering you
started learning it after the IGC. It looks very difficult to play.
I'd suggest your not holding some notes long enough, giving a staccato sound in places.
It would be great if you could upload Vincent for Neil to review.
Thanks
Dermot

Great video Tom.
As always, you challenge yourself and step up to the plate. Looks and sounds like you have a very solid foundation laid for "Vincent". Whether you agree or not, I know many of us thought you pulled "Classical Gas" off with style too... B)
It was great to meet you, use your GPS and hang out over a pint on the last day...

Hi Tom
Wow you are a very accomplished guitarist. I can't believe you learned Vincent so quickly and thoroughly in such a short amount of time. You played it beautifully. Don't worry about the performance jitters, that's just par for the course for everyone. We all play better by ourselves at home when no one is listening. I liked your suggestions for next year's guitar camp. Neil May need to find a bigger place because everyone is going to want to come to camp next year.
