Choosin' Texas by Ella Langly
Ella Langley is an American country music singer-songwriter.
Her hit single Choosin' Texas, taken from her 2nd studio album 'Dandelion' (2026) became a Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit. It earned her two Country Music Awards for Single and Song of the Year.
The arrangement is done in the key of Db, for which Langley uses 'Dropped Db' or 'Dropped C#'. This means that all strings are tuned down 1/2, and another whole step down for the bottom string (6th string) resulting in Db-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb or C#-G#-C#-F#-A#-D#.
