Cold Chisel have always had a special place in my heart for all the wrong reasons.To kick this off..I will start with Cold CHisel

Great idea for a thread. Here's my vote for Australia's Gordon Lightfoot: John Williamson
Mark that's a consistent opinion in my experience. Cold Chisel are an Australian legend but their music is not appreciated outside of this country at all. When they tried their luck in the States as all rising bands do they were shown the door really quickly by American record executives. They wrote this song about the experience:
