Hello Neil
When I change cords, the bottom of my first (pointer) finger mutes the E string on the upbeat. I have tried arching my hand as far below the neck as I can, but the bottom of the neck tends to rest at that spot, if not I don't any control on the movement of the neck as I change cords.
I play (well try to) a Zager. The E string is very close to the bottom of the neck. Since I live about 2 hours away from an music store I have not had an opportunity to see if all quitars are set up that way.... or if is just a problem getting my hand in the correct position.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
