I'll sign up for bass.

This is really cool folks! Thanks for reacting so enthusiastically.
David, so glad you signed up for bass, I had you in mind, of course!
Izzy, you certainly have something to offer here….I was going to volunteer you anyway, so thanks for saving me the trouble
. Just need our other girls to join you now….
Joe, a bit of e-guitar would be really cool!
Jay, for the last 30 years I thought I couldn’t sing this song! Add some guitar and have a secret go at singing too… you never know…
Andy, I could go a half step down or another full step down but I’d really like to use this key I’m suggesting here… but lets see how it develops as we move along .
Tony and Heatndude already signed up... great to have you all on board!
Thanks for your well wishes Mark… I hope we can deliver something that everyone will enjoy.
Edit
While I was posting Stu signed up (great!) and Dennis made his very kind comments, thanks den!
Another way of playing this that works well, maybe even better is Capo 1 and using E D A with F#m , B and Bm. I’m tuned down a half step at the moment so I’m playing at capo 2, which is what you see in this second video below. This is a much richer sound on the guitar, IMHO. What do you think?
EDIT: I stuffed up above in the video. This is effectively down 2 steps from the original G so we have landed at F. In my first video I'm tuned down a half step so I'm playing F# instead of G. Here I'm lower. Going down another half step to F is better. Playing it capo 1 using E D A F#m B Bm is the same and sounds richer.
And just a little aside here: Can anyone explain to me why I have the Equals "Come Back ...baby come back" running around my head all day long when I'm working on Don't let the sun?!

I need to sit this one out due to time constraints. But it looks like you've got the makings of another winner here.
Feel free to ask any questions about AVS or Moviemaker and I'll help if I can.
Looking forward to the final product!

Thanks Al, I'm sure we will need your expert knowledge here.
As to time constraints, I was thinking about taking 8-9 weeks on this project which would land us at around April 7th-14th. Long enough but with a looming deadline, gets the creative juices flowing and the mind focused with a little deadline pressure
