Chris, I may have missed it, but I'm not sure how you want files sent to you (i.e. format, program...). I use iMovie for my posts. Is this format acceptable or will I need to use something else?

Michelle,
You will need something else. If you can, AVI is preferred. If not, let me know and I'll find one you can do.

I can actually use the MOV files but I really prefer not to. It's extra work to convert them.

Andy - I can convert my .mov files to .avi easily using iMovie. Is that OK? I can send you a file I just converted if you'd like to test it. That would save me learning and obtaining a new piece of software.

Michelle,

AVI is perfect. No need to test. But if you like, we can.

Good question Michele. Maybe Andy can give us the gen on what formats we (he) needs to do the editing and mixing. I'm assuming that anything that can be handled by MovieMaker would be the best format, but I'm not sure which formats that would be in total.

Good question Chris. Since I am doing only audio and not video, what format would you like it in?

For Audio, Anything that Audacity can handle is fine.
# WAV, AIFF, AU, and Ogg Vorbis files.
# MPEG audio (including MP2 and MP3 files).

For Video, I'll be using AVS:
Blu-ray video, AVCHD, MPEG-2 HD and WMV HD), AVI (DivX, Xvid, etc.), DV AVI, MP4 (inc. Sony PSP, Apple iPod and Archos), WMV, 3GP, 3G2, QuickTime (MOV, QT), DVD, VOB, VRO, MPEG-1, 2, 4, TOD, MOD, MPG, DAT, VCD, SVCD, Real Video (RM, RMVB), ASF, ASX, MJPEG, H.263, H.264, DVR-MS, MKV, OGM, FLV, AMV, MTV, TS, M2TS, M2T, MTS, DPG, NSV, FLI, FLC, CDG.

So you can see, since I chose AVS over MM, we now have a huge selection of file types to use.
