Thanks everyone for all the good advise. Funny I can talk on the phone and play the guitar at the same time. I watch tv and play it. where is the singing stuff from Neil on the site?
Oh and I hope all the hospital visits are short.

Singing and playing
I can't watch video right now so couldn't check. but I'm pretty sure Neil addresses Singing in this series of Q&A. If I'm wrong, sorry in advance, just trying to help. I'm sure someone will jump in.

one thing it really helps sometimes is to play the guitar part at normal volume, then start out singing very softly and gradually increase the singing volume. or vice versa - start with loud singing and super soft guitar then gradually ramp up the guitar volume.
For some reason, this really helps me get used to the synchronization between the parts and get the coordination going relatively quickly.
