I read in a Guitar Player magazine about a year ago that Dewey Bunnell plays a specially tuned guitar for only one song in their set. "A Horse with no name" I don't remember the tuning but it was a comment by Gerry Beckley who said that nobody ever gets it right when they teach this song on the internet because the sound of Dewey's guitar is a specific with a triplicate of notes based on the fingering.
