Al - very nice job!!!! I loved what you did with the multitracking. Outstanding. As always your voice was great.

Vanessa - You just blew me away with your performance of this song!!! It's one of my favorites. I never thought of playing it but will look into it now. Really great stuff there.

Willem - I always enjoy watching your video's!! Thank you for sharing!!

WOW Al!!... I've run out of appropriate superlatives to describe how I feel about your recording Al and just adding more exclamation marks (points) doesn't convey it.

I REALLY enjoyed this. You have simply got to put it on the album. And I would like my copy autographed by you and Helen of course. I'm sure it will be worth a fortune one day.

Unbelievable good!

Michele

Can't believe there's no Neil Young yet, peeps!! Time to rectify the situation.. Here's my run at "Old Man".
I actually recorded this about a month ago and have shown it to a few tg friends. A bit of multi-tracking trying to get some other guitar parts and vocals in there (all vocals are me).

Let's see some other N.Y. tunes in this thread!

Al

Ness,

Another great laid back performance with just the right level of intensity. Your skill and style are benchmarks for me. Shoot for the stars they say.

Wonderful!

Hi everybody!

I couldn't resist of course, just love Neil Young songs! I 'stole' the introlick from Neil, the song is in one of his preview-lessons wich I saw even before signing up, of course I could surely use it!

Hope you like it and hope to see anyone else taking a shot at one of NY-songs!

This is: On The Way Home (When I was young, my parents had the 4 Way Street-album of CSN&Y and this was the very first tune, so I couldn't miss it! Originally the song was recorded by the Buffalo Springfield, Neil wrote it and Richie sang the leadvocals.)

Cheers

Vanessa

Hi Shel!

I can't believe you're so late to the Neil Young-party!

And as always, you're so sweet, thank you very much for your kind and always encouraging words...

Do yóu like Neil Young, or CSN&Y for that matter? Any song of him up your sleeve or in your closet??

Ness,

I'm ashamed at the current answer that I would have to give you to your question. So...my answer is "Sorry, Shel is not available at the moment. She's practicing." But, yes I do like NY and CSN&Y.

And I know, I know - I've been late to a lot of TG parties lately. It's the damn work thing ... I have a dream (some call them lotto tickets) so next year could be different. You never know.
