Help!
I admit, I am not very good but I cannot figure out the tab for the song Weight. I listen to Neil play it and it does not seem to match. I got the intro down but the begining of the verse doesn't seem to match the song or Neil's playing, or anyone elses for that matter. I even went out and purchased Guitar Pro to see if that helped but it sounded like me, not the song as actually played. What am I missing here? :S

Thanks for your response. Based on the lack of responses to my question you are not the only person who does not understand my question. I'll try to reword it; If I follow the tab sheet, it does not seem to match the strumming pattern or rythmn of the song. There must be a simple answer, possibly my own inability............Still working on it though.

This may not be the answer but I have noted on the odd lesson that Neil has not put in the actual strumming pattern he uses and on occasion he has just put in the fingering for the chord. Neil does this as he sometimes want us to work these things out from the video I'm guessingThanks for your response. I am finding out that quite often there are a multitude of ways to play any given song. Sometimes you just have to maybe listen to the song and just find your own way to make it yours. After all music is all about what feels and sounds right to you right?

I think the problem comes as a beginner you dont have the knowledge or skill or ability
to watch a video and pick out what is going on or what you should be looking for so it adds to the frustration and things take longer. I am only now after 12 mths roughly on target starting to be able to pick up on what the left and right hand are doing in videos. It is also difficult when you are working off a streaming video lesson because if its like mine its very hard to go back and forwards to view again, plus having video on lowest setting it is blurry sometimes and difficult to see what is going on.
its a tough journey learning off a website but its worth it and it gets easier day after day.. still dam hard though

I havent watched Neils lesson but I assume you must mean doing the little base run incorporated into the chords.
C C/B Am Am/G F E
Tour just sort of taking C scale notes as base notes and using them with the chords
Sorry went and looked at Neils lesson and its in key of A
