Do artists have a right to be precious?
Geez, not sure what to think of that! (I always liked Dave Grohl. Or as much as you can like someone you don't really know.) Once again, you don't see the whole thing so it is pretty hard to have an informed opinion one way or the other on this one. But I would have to say in the case of "fighting" you have to error on the side of caution. I'm about 90% sure he did the right thing, here. Although, it seems to me he is trying to score points with the audience at the same time. I dunno if that is part of the rock concert schtick or what. His (shall we say) rather proactive way of dealing with the situation probably helps to quell the domino effect...that could occur anytime some idiot throws a punch in the middle of a mob of people.
