That was fun Pierre! I always appreciate your humour and this made me smile this morning. Nice singing.
This is a classic Monty P and I just love the punch-line as it seems to be so true!
How did you do that freaky thing with the zoom out without moving from your seat?!

Shel: "Plucking up the courage", "Anti-Uke", "Size doesn't matter" ? Hsd some strong coffee this morning? :-)

I'm declaring my house a Uke-free zone :P and I'll let the other pluckers have a go :-).

I understand.... Well I'm sure there are enough really good pluckers here to make up for any... ahhh... lack of ... ahhhh ... plucking joy you might have.

You know what they say... 'Fake it til you make it'. I've heard it works for some people.

Michele,

That was a great change of pace. I think you play and sing together just fine. And that Uke looks and sound nice. I remember my Dad having one in the house when I was little but I only saw him ever play it a couple of times back then (he sang in a barbershop quartet and chorus back then). Not sure what ever happened to that uke. I also was surprised to see a fairly large Uke section in my local music store which I havene't been to for years until very recently when I decided to start up again. It must be that a lot of people are (re)discovering the Uke. It's very retro.

Thanks for posting!

Pierre,

Loved your contribution to the "busking ukelele songs" thread! I don't usually expect to have a little science lesson before my first cup of tea, but I did enjoy it! It looked like you were having a lot of fun with that one. How do you remember all the lyrics?

Thanks for posting the note on Chris's "New video in the busking channel" thread, otherwise I would have missed this!

Oh and I almost missed Pierre's Python rendition! I used to watch a lot of them - have to look that particular one up. Very fun addition.

Pierre, what a fún song!

And gosh, those lyrics (how did you memorize those? ), very good idea to add them, since I don't always hear what's being sung immediately and it definitely added to the fun. I think you did terrific, singing and playing, just loved it and made me smile the whole song through and not just me, my mom who is here was enjoying it very much as well!

How great of you to crash the Uke-party :P , thanks Pierre, that was fun!

That great Eric Idle song is from my favorite Monty Python movie: The Meaning of Life. Who can ever forget the last segment of the movie with that corpulent guy exploding in the restaurant? Or "Death" arriving at a dinner party? Or the topless women chasing the guy in slow motion?

Ah, but I digress.

Very nice job on a most difficult-to-sing tune. I just wish you were lit a little better.
