Michele,

That was a great change of pace. I think you play and sing together just fine. And that Uke looks and sound nice. I remember my Dad having one in the house when I was little but I only saw him ever play it a couple of times back then (he sang in a barbershop quartet and chorus back then). Not sure what ever happened to that uke. I also was surprised to see a fairly large Uke section in my local music store which I havene't been to for years until very recently when I decided to start up again. It must be that a lot of people are (re)discovering the Uke. It's very retro.

Thanks for posting!

Scott
Thanks Scott. It was fun to do. It's a little addictive actually. Next time you're in the music store pick one up and play it for a while. Maybe we'll see you back here joining the party.

Thanks again.

Michele

Nice going, Pierre, that was a lot of fun. Liked the changing camera angles too!

Michele, My favorite Mama Cass song. You do it well. And you have inspired me to take my uke on the road with me for the next few weeks of work. Thanks for posting.

Pierre, What can I say . . . . . great job on a classic tune. A friend of mine in one of our garage bands knew the words to this song and we would pull it out on a few occasions. Thanks for bringing back some good memories. I must say that I was a bit distracted by the painting over your left shoulder on the last wide shot. Is there a story to it?

Thanks Hydroman. I'm really glad you liked it.

Inspired, YEH! - I'm hoping that means that we might see something from you in a few weeks. THAT would be awesome. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Damn it's hard to play guitar this way. ...Crossed in spirit.

Michele, thanks for inspiring me to dig out the uke, you made me smile too (big time!) :)

Cori, thank you also for the smilies :) and laughies  !

Tony, you are someone who dares to stick his neck out in order to make progress.
Just putting this out is a big step for me. Thanks for the words of encouragement !

Willem, glad you showed up, thanks for the head's up :)

Hmmm, Kevin, make me wonder if you met the same radioactive spider that bit me :S
They haven't found a cure for that yet, and I hope they never will ... thanks a lot !

Chris, you are also someone who has targeted my funnybone quite regularly ... it's great if I can return the favor :)
About the Zoom: the final video framing is the one in which it was recorded.
I used AVS video Editor to zoom in and so limit the viewable area in the first two scenes. Thanks !

Suzi, memory works in funny ways (or mine does anyway :S).
I was actually putting more effort into remembering the simple playing of this song ... I can recite these lyrics pretty much on automatic pilot.
I fail miserably at remembering people's names but am quite good with the names of vegetables and also song lyrics (Beatles!).
I also progressively lost the ability to remember jokes some time ago. I guess we have to make jokes up when we can't remember any :)
As for the science lesson, your assignment is now to convert all the miles into kilometers !

Scott, thanks for listening !

Vanessa, glad that you liked it and it's really fun to imagine you and your mom watching this. Please tell her I said hello :)

Very nice job on a most difficult-to-sing tune. I just wish you were lit a little better.
Dennis Your videos are so crystal clear ... the technical quality of my past videos has been abysmal, and this one is actually a great leap forward. I finally got a decent video recorder, the Kodak PlayTouch, which is the successor to Kodak's Z18. I'm very pleased with this new toy, I guess next step is better lighting.
I appreciate your input very much !

Stuart, thanks for the comment. I guess that you, Dermot and Tom are lying low while all those girls must think you still have the TG banner :). Be patient, they will all eventually move on with their lives.

Hydroman, it must be a such a blast playing that song with a band ... as for the painting, it's a reproduction of a portion of a work by Gustav Klimt, titled "Mother and Child". The child in the image is the spitting image of my grandson as he looked a couple of years ago, when my wife and I couldn't help but take it home. Thanks !!

Salut Pierre, I saw your Ukelele in Binghamton, but did not realize how good you play it.

Pierre,

Man I loved that, Monty Python's Flying Circus was one of my favorite shows. Seems so long ago, Wait, it was

Jim,

Nice job. I remember my parents singing that song all the time.
