Hi Craig, somehow I mist your post yesterday. You played very well, in control. I am sure the singing sounded great in your head Seriously, it is a very nice video, we feel the aura of relaxation only clrear notes even on the bar chord.
Thanks Marc. That means a lot to me coming from you. I forgot to mention that the singing in my head has a French Canadian accent! Your posts always inspire me, so thank you.
Craig
"Everything I Own".. WITH SINGING!
A tough one for sure! No way I can capo it at the 7th fret like the lesson.
I played this one faster than the guitar-only version I uploaded earlier.
There are a few hiccups in it- probably due to adding the singing. Too much to think about.. including how CRAZY-HIGH David Gates sings!!
Multi-tracking starts in the 2nd verse for those that hold out that long
Cheers!
PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.
Al,
On behalf of all CBFU members, I thought that was GREAT! Way to go! Very well sung and played. It's going to take more than coffe for me to sing "If"! I have been working on "Diary" though...
Not too many people can sign David Gates' songs, but you pulled it off my TG friend!
Another really good post by you.
Craig
That was a nice performance (with singing) on a tough song to sing at all let alone play and sing. It becomes hard to play when you start to sing (at least I have trouble with that and lose my place in songs soon as I try to sing (which I can't very well anyway lol). This was great to hear added harmony efforts as well. Nice touch. I am not buying the coffee though maybe
Are you sure that was coffee?  That was really awesome. :woohoo: :woohoo: Your mix of vocal / harmonies was so cool and really good. Some high notes there and I think you did great.
