Suzi,

Well you've started my day with a big smile. :) :) :) That was SO great to see. I loved your Ripple and your accent and sunny way of speaking is music to my ears too.

It has been great watching the banner travel. It's a nice excuse to see a little more of the TG family.

Thanks for the grins.

Shel

I'm really glad you all enjoyed my little video! I sent the banner on to Hydroman, and hopefully he'll get it in the next few days. I agree that it's been a lot of fun seeing it travel around the world.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words about the little Ripple intro. It's a fun song for working on flatpicking technique- I highly recommend it!

Good job on Ripple, Suzi. I can feel your pain - I've been working in for a while too, on and off, and it doesn't feel like a level 2 (3?) song to me either. But part of my problem is that I keep playing "Any Dream Will Do" from Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. And that's not quite as cool as The Dead. You can't throw the horns playing Andrew Lloyd Webber stuff!

Good to see the banner continuing on it's way.................

Oh Stuart, Stuart, Stuart.... You don't throw the horns while listening to The Dead!!! You throw the peace sign!! :)

You're right- for a level 3 song, it's a lot harder than it seems it should be!

Oh - well that's actually very close to the sign that I throw when I hear Andrew Lloyd Webber!

Way cool ceremony, Suzi ! Also, your "Ripple" is quite melodious ... you might remember that last winter you kindly commented on a video of myself failing miserably at trying to make heads or tail of playing it. Guess I just had an irresistible masochistic impulse that caused me to post it ... but it was worth it, it got me lotsa good advice from fellow TGers PLUS NEIL'S RESPONSE. So I've kept working at it, and I'm sure that your demo here will be quite helpful. Thanks for the banner update :)

Pierre
