Thanks for your very kind comments.Yes, my earlier posts were removed due to my ignorance of the upload protocol, which I was'nt aware of.It's been soted out now by Mike and I will be posting more videos from now on.At present my videos are just a straight solo performance, no overdubs or effects involved, just perform into camcorder.I know others have harmonies and other guitars added, but I do not have the technical knowhow to do that just yet.I may do that in the not too distant future.Glad you liked my channel on Youtube.

Thanks, very much appreciated.I've been playing for over 35 years.Always loved the acoustic guitar and love finger style and strummimg.James Taylor is quite unique as a player and a real challenge to any guitarist.I have covered many of his songs and they will appear here eventually. You can also check out my Youtube channel by typing in the word shargram and it will take you to my channel.I have over 200 videos there of many artists.

Thanks, much appreciated.I am surprised you've never heard this one before as it's one of James Taylor's signature songs, although it is one of his earlier songs(It goes way back to his "Mud Slide Slim" album from 1971), which seems a lifetime ago.Anyway, I'm very glad you liked it.

Really great picking here. Doesn't look easy at all. Great, relaxed singing too.

One of the reasons Neil has given that he hasn't covered a lot of JT yet is the fact that he is quite an unorthodox player.
You've got it down pat though.

Thanks for sharing.

George,

Fantastic! Loved it! Ahh, the classic JT A-hammer-ons and pulloffs. At least you finger the A chord in the normal way LOL. Also I see you can finger the G chord using the 2-4 fingers to allow the C hammer-on with the index finger. I was wondering since in your other video you finger the G the more traditional way (the normal way I was taught and Neil has opened my eyes about there being good reason to be able to do it both ways). I am certainly looking forward to hearing more from you.

If you decide to join the Target program I am also very much looking forward to challenging you to some specific lessons! We recently started doing that with other members for fun, support and inspiration. That will be fun and inspiring indeed.

Scott
