Fantastic! Loved it! Ahh, the classic JT A-hammer-ons and pulloffs. At least you finger the A chord in the normal way LOL. Also I see you can finger the G chord using the 2-4 fingers to allow the C hammer-on with the index finger. I was wondering since in your other video you finger the G the more traditional way (the normal way I was taught and Neil has opened my eyes about there being good reason to be able to do it both ways). I am certainly looking forward to hearing more from you.
If you decide to join the Target program I am also very much looking forward to challenging you to some specific lessons! We recently started doing that with other members for fun, support and inspiration. That will be fun and inspiring indeed.

This is my video for You've Got A Friend by James Taylor.Brilliant arrangement of a Carole King song which she generously gave him when he heard her play it.Turned out to be his biggest hit.

Very nice George. This is one of my favorites by both Carole and JT both. It is also a song I have wanted to learn for a long time. Very impressive job you did. I will be even more impressed if you tell me you figured this out totally by ear. I suspect you did because even though I don't know how to play the song my ear hears a slight difference between JT's version and yours in the quick bassline runs in the chorus part. But you certainly got a great handle on the feel of this song and you play it very well. I loved it.

Thanks Scott, much appreciated.Yes, I did learn it entirely by ear but it took quite some time to become fluent.James Taylor does not do 3 chord songs, it's not in his nature.I've seen him play this live several times, and he changes it almost every time, and I've never heard him play it, or seen a video of him play it exactly how he recorded it.I learned it from the recorded version and tried to get as close as possible to that.I have lots of JT songs still to upload, are there any you would like in preference?I may already have a video for it.I also have tabbed all my videos.It is really very helpful to go back to a song I've not played in a while, and pick it up straight away with the tab.Very nice George.
