Pierre- My Pinky has recovered. I am just a BIG baby. I like the sound of having eclectic taste...Thanx! :)

Tom Wow,.. Brilliant, Nice, and Stunning (triple-wow!) Thanks a lot, Sir. Glad we could introduce you to the song. :) :) :)
Maybe we outta work on a project where Krista & Claire sing a duet. That might be REAL nice!
Michele Ahh shucks Michele. Not quite sure how to respond to all those amazingly nice things you had to say? Good Golly!
:) :) :) Thank You SO Much! And thanks for starting this post. I wish we could do this 2-4 chord experiment once a
month. I have been watching Daryl's Blowin n the Wind & Vanessa's Elvis the Pelvis...again & again.
(Maybe some more folks would come out of the woodwork. I say we keep it going.) Good on you, for
starting this!! It has been so much fun to see what would turn up.
What have you got planned for us? I'm quite curious.

Brad Well, Brad thank you...I suppose that is mostly true. Not that we don't both have our moments. ;)
Thanks for checking in...Say, why don't you put something up for us?

Krista and Cori,

As much fun it is to watch the two of you (I have to admit that I watched the other more than once, it is just too funny!!  ), the lyrics of this song are........well beautiful at least, but also....well I understand why it choked Shel up.........in anyway, that was of course great to see and to hear, very nice singing and playing!

Cori & Krista, "Naked as we Came" - Never heard this one or the band. But very nice finger picking and singing. I hope there will be more coming from you two. This really is a fun thread.

Credit where credit is due that is all. :)
A duet is always a possibility if we find a suitable song. :)

Cheers,

Tom.

Vanessa & Michele- Thank you kindly. :) Sincerely, sorry if the melancholy lyrics triggered any bad vibes/memories for
anyone. Sorry, Michele. Until Vanessa said that I didn't realize the seriousness or gravity of your
comments. Bad karma for me! :( ( Sure, sounds like some seriously heavy-duty stuff.) :( I'd undo the
post if I could. It is hard for a person to predict another person's reaction to a given song's lyrics...
( Not knowing a person's back-story and all that.) But long story short, we certainly didn't wanna
bum ya out.

Daryl Thank You, you lucky bargain-shopping-Martin-ownin"-son of gun! I have watched "Blowin In The Wind" even a few
more times since last time. As for posting more in this thread. Thanks alot , man but I think I am pert near my
quota...I think I'll sit back and see what other folks put up. We need some fresh blood in here with us...come on
folks!

Cori,

What on earth are you apologizing for sweet maan? My comments were not grave at all. Nessa just knows that I am a goosh-bag. Her videos have me in tears often. Seriously, commercials with cute kids and puppies in them can make me teary. It used to be a source of giggles for my daughter Sagie until it started happening to her. :) bloody estrogen. :)

Please just read my comments as a sign that you both sang and played so beautifully that it went straight to my heart. The lyrics helped, but I think you could have substituted your shopping list and it would have had the same effect. Seriously... You kicked that song's butt in the best way possible.

So...erase the thread and I'll kick your butt. B)

So what's next?

And I'm not telling. I'll probably do one from the suggestions in the 3/4 chord song thread to show my appreciation. Depends how quickly I can get the playing and singing dealio happening (get the words in my head).

Thanks for being so sweet. It's all good. You're awesome.

And I'd love to see the 2-4 chord challenge come back regularly, and similar initiatives. I love the way these challenges have shown just what a talented community we have. Well all the videos do in truth, but the challenges and competitions always bring out a new level of enthusiasm, which I love seeing. So I'm definitely with you there.

Love

Shel

Phew! Okay, good we'll chalk that up to a misread and I am glad that is what it was. I feel dumb now but, I was thinking all sorts of possibilities. That you had lost someone traumatically, while in your arms or whatever... anyways, all good now!

Okay, geez how do I segue out of that one...Lol!

Yep, I agree wholeheartedly about these challenge- type threads throwing down the gauntlet, so-to speak.
It has been a blast! Can't wait to see what you come up with.
And, once again thank you for your more than kind comments...especially about Krista's singing. I have to keep my vocalist motivated! Lol!

Thanks,
Cori

Guys, I'm sorry I missed this when you first posted it! What a beautiful song and the energy between the two of you was really sweet to watch. Krista really has the voice of an angel and I loved your playing on this, Cori. You had a nice, light touch.

Sorry I'm so late on this one, Cori. I'm not on the forum much anymore. But I'm glad I stopped by to see your really excellent video. Beautiful singing. great playing (as usual) and a really unique sound that comes out of that arch-top guitar.
