Den, Mr Showman, it's SO nice to have you back. I sure have missed you.

WOW! That was *&^(^@(^# FANTASTIC! LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT!

Your singing was out of this world fun and expressive. I loved the playing, yep even the bits you think suck, you just kept going and who cares anyway. The bass runs and stresses and the whole damn package was great.

You've put a huge smile on my face. I've come home to a disaster. My guitar room is flooded; water seeping in under the carpet from outside. Don't worry my guitars are safe. I was in a shitty mood as a consequence until I watched your video and now my universe has achieved a bit more equilibrium.

You had Sue in stitches - she reckons you've taken liberties with the briefs - ahhh ... (smirk) ... she said "How on earth was that a 3 or 4 chord song?"

Well that was a hell of a lot of Elvis. Hmmm... I'm wondering whether it might inspire a reply video. ... :) or two :)

Fan-freaking -tastic!! Still grinning ear to ear and off to watch it again. The Showman has left the building, hopefully he'll be back soon.

WOW!

Shel

Michele,

I'm so sorry I missed your song. Looks like I missed others as well that I need to get to. Anyway I thought you did an awesome job!!! I love that song. Too many memories to count with Steve Miller songs. I had a huge smile on my face the entire time!!! A great pleasure to watch. Nice guitar collection you have going as well. Thanks for posting!!!

Dennis,

That was great. I loved it. You looked like you were having so much fun. I know I was and you don't have anything to be sorry about for sure.

Way to go Elvis

Dennis,

That was GREAT! Your performance was fun all the way around! I enjoyed the heck out of that. Although I think you deserve 99% of the applause and credit on this, I can help but think that your nail salon gets 1% !!!!

Thanks for sharing with us!

Dennis, I'm glad to see that no animals were harmed and no pottery was shattered during the making of this video (witness the vase on the right, and no dog noises).

Great attitude here, adds so well to the "pass the guitar around" mood in this thread.
You could easily make the blue-haired ladies scream with delight, just like Elvis did ... as for myself, I hope an ear-to-ear grin is compliment enough

Pierre

(Edit: "blue-haired ladies" is a reference to Neil Young's "The Last Time I Saw Elvis")

Great fun, Dennis! You add a little bit of extra stuff throughout with only a 3-chord basic pattern. Nice show!

Michele, so sorry to hear about your flooded room - that really sucks. My parents house got flooded last year when their water softener unit sprunk a leak and on down the hall and into the bedrooms the water went. Never a fun thing. Hope you get you problem taken care of - and glad your guitars are safe.

Nessa: It always cheers me up to know that you smiled during my song, but I bet you weren't smiling during my chord solo. That's painful to watch. Thanks for your comments.

Daryl: One of these days, I'll download the lyrics of the other song and I'll see to what degree I can mangle that song, too.

MJ: Singing is really pretty much the whole reason I started playing guitar in the first place. I'd love to see you do a video and hear your voice.

Cori: I appreciate your allusions to a couple of the great guitarists of yesteryear, but I think I played that solo more like Steven Hawking. As always, thanks for your support.

Mark: Just like the Ed Sullivan show did to Elvis, I arranged the camera so that you couldn't see my sexy pelvic thrusts during the song. My dog Wally was very confused.

Abilio: Thanks for your very nice comment.

Shel: Yeah, I'd love to see you put up an Elvis song in response to mine. But you've got to do it standing up in order to get your pelvis into the action. Please inform Sue that I was wearing briefs during the song, and that there were pictures of little ducks on them. Thanks for your very sweet comments. And I'm so sorry about your water leakage.

Bob: Thanks so much for your kindness. I appreciate it.

Craig: Hah! My manicurist gets no credit for this one -- I was using a flat pick. Although from my chord solo you might have guessed that I was wearing boxing gloves.

Pierre: I'm pretty sure the only blue-haired lady screaming during my song was my elderly neighbor. Thanks for adding the reference to Neil Young.

Scott: Thanks. It's potentially a fun song to play, not that anyone could glean that from my video.

Willem: If you weren't a fan of Elvis before this video, you're not likely to buy his CDs now. Hey, I'd love to hear you do an Elvis number. Remember ... standing up.
