What's this? Daryl has removed the virtual veneer? And here I am, where i can't watch the video...darn it!
I did see your face briefly as an avatar about a week or two ago...i was wondering why you took that down, actually.
You definitely looked humanoid to me...

Anyways I am sure this video is killer...can't wait till this evening.

Cori

EDIT: DOH!!! SORRY 'BOUT THE DOUBLE-TAKE...NOT SURE HOW THAT HAPPENED.

Daryl:

Nice clip..... I could barely hear it though. I did not notice Cori or Ness mention it though, so it may just be on my end... I was checking one of my uploads today also and noticed that is was very quiet on this laptop.... Maybe I have a little gremlin in the machine.... :)

Good to see you and, as always, nice playing!

Hi Daryl,
Great video! I've always liked that song. Thanks for all of your contributions here. Nice to hear you singing and seeing your face.
Daryl is your real name isn't it? Or is it ffsooo3? :)

Daryl,
Great playing, as always! You sounded great singing as well. I have to admit, I was a little thrown off at first, I had to watch it a second time! GREAT to see you!

Wow this thread is growing. Turn your back and try and work for a few days and look what you miss.

Pierre - The cold finally got to ya huh??? Great job pal. I always enjoy watching your videos.

Chris - What can I say? You make it look so effortless. Another fantastic job by you.

Krista & Cori - Well that was a hoot. I quite enjoyed this one from you two. I thought Krista's vocals were very cool. Not many people can sing like that. Cori my man that was some nice pick'n. You've got a knack for some interesting playing. Well done!!

Daryl ?!?!?!?! Holy Crap!! I'm so happy you posted this. Great job!!! You, like, Chris made this look so relaxing. I've got to say this is my favorite video of yours regardless of the obvious reason. I thought your playing and singing were outstanding on this one. You've been holding out on us to long. Good for you Daryl!!! Thanks for sharing this with all of us.

Ha! The thread that keeps on giving. Great to put a face to the guitar, Daryl - and nice job on the song.......even if you didn't quite keep to your own rules :)

Wow, way to go, Daryl. Great to hear your voice. Since you're able to carry a tune so well, it makes me wonder why we haven't heard your voice sooner.

Ness - I never knew I would "come out". Actually, I thought I'd NEVER come out. And the number of chords is: FOUR (if you count the E7 as a separate chord).

Cori - Only partly humanoid. The veneer will probably go back on.

Jason - Hopefully the issues on your end. Thanks.

Jim - Thanks. Yes it's a very fun song. And real easy to play (if one can land that pesky B7). I have no idea who ffs0003 is. ;-)

Craig - Thank you. I'm still a little thrown off.

Mark - Favorite video of mine? No way. My next video is gonna have to be fully orchestrated with moving PIPs and dynamic transitions and effects with backward messages and dueling leads!

Stuart - Ha? Thanks. But the rules are 3 or 4 chords. (E A B7 and an E7 in this one)

Dennis - Thank you.

OH...MY...GOD!!!!!!....OMG, OMG, OMG. Can this really be the masked multi-tracking minstrel ... WITHOUT his mask? Never say never. ... Hmmm... maybe the mask is at the dry cleaners and there's no replacement. (sneaky thought forming to visit said laundromat and hijack mask so the MMM can't return...shhhh don't think so loudly)

Daryl, and here you had me thinking you were either some alien who loved playing but didn't want to show his two heads or part of the witness protection program. It's SO GREAT to finally see your face properly (beside the static avatar flash) and it turns out that you're a handsome man after all. And so nice to see and hear you singing so sweetly.

Well you may be singing about the blues, but I thought it was damn cute and boppy and you've got me smiling over here. This unexpected reveal has really made my morning.

Nice song choice. I'm glad you counted properly, I'd have hated to don the Commissioner of Chord Policy cap. :) :)

So first Elvis makes an appearance and now Daryl. Can this thread get any better?

I LOVE your style Daryl and being able to see your guitar face has made this video so much more enjoyable to watch. So... I'll be sneaking over to lock the closet before you climb back in, with the mask in my back pocket. :). Thanks for the surprise!

Shel
