Marc & Buddy - Isn't it amazing how 2 songs with the same progression (I IV V) can sound SO DIFFERENT????

Buddy - Nice touch with the hat!

Marc - Great first note. And yep...it could have only been "Wild Thing". Great addition.

This is Krista's favorite band; and I like em' a lot too. It's 90's grunge
band"Alice In Chains" This is a 3-4 chord song.

G6, Aadd9, Badd4, & plain old E major

This is QUITE ROUGH, but boy did we have fun doing it!! Probably too much fun!

In keeping with a lot of the "firsts" that we have seen with Daryl and Craig. I think this post sorta fits that theme.
We got QUITE experimental on this one. You'll probably see what I mean...

Thanks in advance!!

Krista & Cori

It's alright
There comes a time
Got no patience
To search for peace of mind

Laying' low
Want to take it slow
No more hiding
Or disguising truths I've sold

Everyday
Something hits me all so cold
Find me sittin' by myself
No excuses that I know

It's okay
Had a bad day
Hands are bruised from
Breaking rocks all day
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/a/alice+in+c ... 05987.html ]
Drained and blue
I bleed for you
You think it's funny
Well you're drowning in it too

Everyday
Something hits me all so cold
Find me sittin' by myself
No excuses that I know

Yeah, it's fine
We'll walk down the line
Leave our rain
A cold trade for warm sunshine

You're my friend
I will defend
And if we change
Well I love you anyway

Everyday
Something hits me all so cold
Find me sittin' by myself
No excuses that I know

Never ever heard of the band or song, but very much enjoyed the two of you pulling it off! And yeah, the sweater 'Amsterdam', that was very very cool to see, thanks!!!

Way to go you two, very entertaining!! :woohoo:

Wow....Cori that's not Krista......what did you do with her? Perhaps a split personality? ;)
Quite the duet. I don't know the song but I thought you two had something special going on there.
Thanks for the addition. Do you think this thread can surpass the "Banner" thread??????

Vanessa & Daryl Yep, that is Krista! :cheer: She wanted to play some guitar if she could. And I showed her how to move that E shape around and she did pretty good with it for not having much experience. She needs to work on her upstrokes, accents, and overall feel. But I think she might be pretty good at it sometime if she keeps working @ it. She has those long slender guitarist fingers and she is far more naturally musical than I am. And, lets face it...just like I told her a little while ago. Her guitar playing ain't half as bad as my singing. LOL!

Vanessa, Krista's "Amsterdam" shirt was just me being sorta silly, but mainly saying I was thinking about ya.
(Like you did with the mug.) Thanks My friend!
Daryl, Thanks a lo! And to answer your question hell ya!
This thread is like the eighth wonder of the world! It's gotta plenty of momentum! We're definitely gonna do it...
