Yay! One of my all-time favorite songs, expertly played by you, Marc. I loved what you did with it.

Marc-Man, I love your stuff!!! All the little extras and detail you put into your tunes is something I so enjoy about your performances!! Nicely done Mr. Davies! You definitely have the perfect feel for the spirit of this thread...just song after song it is great fun to see what you will come up with next! Loved it Marc!
Vanessa- Thank you, my friend!! :) :) Yes, krista likes this one better than Frankie & Johnny, lol! Thank you for your kind words and candor... It is greatly appreciated, as always!! If I get some time I might send you some personal taste/arrangement/timingquestion(s) oriented vids & some other stuff via pm or e-mail...as not to clutter up this thread. Anyways, thanks!!! :) :)

* I appologize for getting to this late...I am on my I phone which I hate typing on...as my keyboard is corrupted??!/ simply won't type anything. I dunno how to troubleshoot the damn thing! All kinds of weird stuff going on with the computer. (nothing on the darn thing works). Gonna have to bury it in the backyard I think!

Marc,

I love when you let your inner rock star come out and play! That was so much fun to watch and I had a big smile on my face with both your "Oh no solo!" and your ending "Yeah." bits especially. You do know how to make a fun video. I'm definitely one of your groupies :)

Pearl Jam Last Kiss

PLEASE NOTE: If video was recently uploaded it will not work yet. YouTube will need a little more time to get the video ready. Please check back again soon.

I thought I would revive this thread :P

Last Kiss lyrics
Songwriters: Cochran, Wayne;
Four chords
G Em C D
Oh where, oh where, can my baby be?
The Lord took her away from me
She's gone to heaven, so I've got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world

We were out on a date in my daddy's car
We hadn't driven very far
There in the road, straight ahead
A car was stalled, the engine was dead

I couldn't stop, so I swerved to the right
I'll never forget the sound that night
The screamin' tires, the bustin' glass
The painful scream that I heard last

Oh where, oh where, can my baby be?
The Lord took her away from me
She's gone to heaven, so I've got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world

When I woke up the rain was pourin' down
There were people standing all around
Something warm goin' through my eyes
But somehow I found my baby that night

I lifted her head, she looked at me and said
"Hold me darling, just a little while"
I held her close, I kissed her our last kiss
I found the love that I knew I had missed

Well now she's gone
Even though I hold her tight
I lost my love, my life, that night

Oh where, oh where, can my baby be?
The Lord took her away from me
She's gone to heaven, so I've got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world

Wow, Bob, really nice job on this old chestnut of a song. Very smooth playing and excellent tempo. You might try capoing up a couple of frets to make it a bit easier to sing.

Anyone besides me remember the Wayne Cochran version of this song?

Nice playing and singing Bob, that Neil G shape chord looks real easy. On Sirius, there is a Pearl Jam channel and the song comes up frequently.

Dennis, I just watch Wayne Cochran, what a character, he just slides on air
