Dennis,

I'm really sorry to hear about this! And I completely understand how you feel, because I would feel exactly the same. When I was sending it on to Hydroman, I worried every day that it would get lost in transit and that it would be my "fault." But we all know that you are NOT to blame for this and it really could have happened to absolutely any of us.

Thinking of you,
Suzi

Absolutely not your fault Dennis carriers are notorious the world over (apologies to any TG member who may work for one). But maybe from now on in we hand deliver it... Just kidding folks, that only applies to Dennis... :P

I suggest for banner v2 we volunteer to contribute to the cost (let me know Dennis and a method of paying) and whilst I like the idea of it going to those who never saw the original it doesn't matter best to go the easiest route.

Hey have you checked eBay?

I agree with Willem. Saw the headline and thought much worse. Glad everyone is okay, whew!

Keep the faith . . . . . the banner may show up . . . . . . as I recall it has a huge clue on it in big bold letters as to who to contact if found. So, let's hope that it can be located or someone finds it and contacts TotallyGuitars.com to return it to the World Tour. If not, it's just a thing. Stuff like this happens and just adds to the mystique.

Perhaps we could post a "lost banner" video on YouTube if it doesn't turn up soon. Maybe something like the "United Breaks Guitars" song?

Yeah, I'm with Willem as well, I thought something life-threatening-bad  , thankfully not the case! And this is certainly no one's fault either. Could've happened anytime anywhere, period.

But yeah, this is really %#$@%@$@%@!! :( :(

I indeed also still hope that it'll turn up. There are people who don't give a damn, but there are also people on this planet who are willing to return something when they find it. Indeed, big logo, shouldn't be too hard.

Am so glad that most of the members who signed it has posted vids and pics, the banner 1.0 certainly won't be forgotten! :) ...

Sigh.......yeah, it sure was fun while it lasted....

Hey Den, as others have said, don’t feel bad. It was an accident that could have happened at any time and it was totally out of your control. I look at it this way. I’m ready for:

TG Banner II
or
TG Banner, the sequel

It was fun watching its travels and everyone’s participation. Now we get to do it again!!! Yippee!

I started praying as I was clicking on the title to open the thread. I was worried that you had exploded or something worse. I'm very glad to discover it's only the banner.

Of course, we get mad about something like this happening, we wonder how anyone could be so negligent, or worse, criminal. But after all, it is only a thing. I'm really glad you and your family are still whole and healthy.

First, a huge thank you to everyone who posted their support of me during this episode. It means a lot to me.

Second, I think I was in such an agitated state this morning when I wrote my post that it didn't occur to me how alarming my thread title was. Given my recent health history, I can understand why people might have been a little frightened. I've fixed the thread title to reflect that the bad news is about the banner. Thanks for you input on this. Next time I'll run my post past a professional writer.

I know a pro Writer Den, and I'd be glad to hook you up with him. His only serious fault is an unwavering loyalty to Apple for some unknown reason. Other than that, I think you might like him. You have much in common. LOL

I'm just very happy to hear you are fine. And thanks for fixing the title....
