Busking 3 or 4 Chord Songs
Ness,
Wow, what a moving song!! I like that you gave us the English translation, but even without it I would be able to feel the passion and emotions of this song. I loved your voice in this song and loved how you make such a simple song so special and varied throughout. I also really liked hearing you sing in Dutch. It was a real treat (a Dutch treat, you could say, hehe)!
Also, I can tell you've been working out! Girl, you're looking buff!!!

Vanessa, this video is a lesson on many musical aspects ... for example, controlled intensity. I could name others, but you get it, I'm sure.
It's also fun hearing singing in a foreign language and listening for sounds that kinda resemble words we know in our own language(s).
So, trying to keep an open mind while listening to this reminds me of looking up at clouds in the sky and being able to see dragons and all kinds of fleeting stuff in the cloud formations.
I wonder ... is there a word for that ?
Thanks !
Pierre

Wow, Ness, that was absolutely gorgeous! It's one of the very few songs in a language I can't understand (which is all of them) that I found hauntingly beautiful. Thanks so much for posting that, and I'm so happy that you're back on the forum.
Willem: You're no Acda & de Munnik-fan??? Otherwise you would have known this one!
Anywa, thank you, am very glad that you liked what I did with it, which actually ain't much, just kept strumming!
Thanks again Willem!
Suzi: Aaaaaaaaaaah Suzi!
:cheer:
Thanks!! I'm very happy that you liked the 'dutch treat'! And the 'buffyness' that came along with it

Chris: Thanks Chris, great to read that you liked it! Well I hope I'm on song again, but it's a start right?!
Pierre: Haha, Pierre, you're too funny and you have such an imagination! If you come up with a word, let me know, alright?!
Thanks Pierre, always appreciate your colorful comments!

Another (great) 3-chord song (I IV V) or 4-chord song depending on how you want to play it.
I stumbled upon Brad (bradintampa) surfing YouTube this past weekend and loved his voice and version of this song. Brad’s playing G C D with the capo on the 1st fret. I thought I’d play E A and B on the 4th fret – with variations on the basic chords for “color”. Kind of a timely video with the latest comments in the TG Banner thread about John Denver.
Michele (and Kevin) I hope you’re happy with the video…..and for those who (for some unknown reason) want to see my smiling face, I’m afraid you will still have to wait (a long long time)…..
