So, I'll be the only one able to take advantage of this (unless any of you have travel plans that I'm not aware of

He'll be playing a single performance. I have my tickets, front row center. I think I was the first to purchase.

Tommy gave an awesome show last night in Tel Aviv!
This time it was just Tommy, no guest performers. He played for 2 1/2 hours without a break, all the classics and a couple of new compositions. The atmosphere was electric (pun intended) and a great time was had by all.
I had a fantastic seat--front row center, close enough to touch the stage without raising my buttockal area from the seat. Most of the time there was less than 6 feet between us, and nobody to block my view. The venue holds almost 1,400, and it was packed!
Another great thing about the show (other than the music and the performance) was that I met some guitarists I would never have otherwise met and had some great conversations. During one of these conversations I found out that Maton Guitars now has a dealer in Israel, and it is just a 5 minute walk from my house!
Sorry, no pictures from the show--I was too busy clapping my hands, tapping my feet, and snapping my fingers and generally having a blast to bother with pictures or video.
If you get a chance to see Tommy Emmanuel perform, grab it with both hands and don't let go. Not to be missed!
Cheers,
David
