Hi Daryl,
Very nicely played. I guess I never knew it was a Dylan song.

Thanks everyone for the comments and views. Yes, it is hard to believe that "Make You Feel My Love" is a Dylan tune. But Bobby has written lots of great tunes covered by many people (Peter Paul & Mary, and Jimi Hendrix to name just two). And yes, Marc, the bass player used a Hofner-like bass guitar. Still no guesses as to who the vocalist is.......
Daryl,
Just out of curiosity, how did you decide on that chord shape for the D7? I've never played it that way, but after watching your video again, I gave it a try, and it sounds really good.
Okay, I give up. Who's the singer? I went on YT and watched versions by Adele and Kelly Clarkson. It ain't them!

I just like the fuller sound of the D7 played like that (and the E7 too). And playing the D7 at the 3rd fret with a dropped-D sounds good too! Sometimes I'll play the E7 at the 5th fret with 4 fingers (076750) and sometimes with 3 finger (076700). I'll PM you with the singer in case others want to guess.....

Nope. Neither Amber nor Claire nor Adele nor Kelly Clarkson.I go for Amber Michael,,,,but it could also be Claire (Tom his daughter)..

I'll PM you my guess, though I'm wondering whether you've raised the pitch of her voice, it sounds a little processed.

Beautiful! Really beautiful. I love this song.dennisg wrote:I was sure you were going to ask "who is playing that killer bass?".Daryl,
Absolutely gorgeous! Really, hard to believe it's a Dylan song. I've got to ask: who is that angel on the vocals? The angel? She is a YouTube star with over 50,000 subscribers and over 6 million video views. Care to guess? PM me with your guesses.....

Well played Daryl. This is a beautiful song that I have heard often. The girl singing? no idea, but she has a very young voice. Guessing (sticking my neck out here  ) I would say under twenty, probably a teenager about 14 to 17 according to my ears???? Am I close?

Great version of a lovely song Daryl... thanks for the entertainment and guessing game... we haven't had many competitions recently.
Now my guess is that you are BSing us on the YT star and all those hits right? To me it sounds like a young lady we all know quite well who just may possibly have a dad we all know very well too.... tell me I'm wrong?!
Keep 'em coming Daryl, while others sleep, you have the stage...

Hi Michele, Thanks! I haven't looked at your guess yet. I will. I left her pitch unchanged but I did speed up her audio by 20%.daryl wrote:Beautiful! Really beautiful. I love this song.dennisg wrote:I was sure you were going to ask "who is playing that killer bass?".Daryl,
