The soloing in the song may be sparse, but George does it perfectly with not one extraneous note. You do it perfectly, too, Daryl. Very nicely done. Your tonality is flawless.

Watching you relax and examine your nails in between solo parts reminded me of something I saw on TV about 30 or so years ago:
I know what you mean about "hanging around until it's my turn". I debated whether or not I should post this video or wait until I had something more complete. But I thought I would just highlight how (relatively) easy this lead is. Hopefully, you and others will give it a shot. And yes, George's lead is perfect for this song....simple (but not really) and elegant.

Well Daryl (Harrison) :) that was just like the original. B) Good work! I look forward to the full triple whammy video with eagerness. :)

Thanks Tom. It was close but definitely not as well played as the original. Hopefully, I'll be able to get Paul's bass part down. We'll see.....

Hey Daryl,

Your lead is very cool. The vibrato and bends sound great. I really liked your rhythm guitar too.

I'd love to see you playing and singing all the parts. I'd love to see your face in each of those parts too. I know you can do it. And hey I'm sure the camera lens didn't crack and the ugly police didn't come knocking or send you a please cut your head out next time notice. Being only able to see your chin or a little of your face is really distracting. You've got a nice face, use it. :) :)

Cool, cool lead.

Shel
Might we see a rendition from you on your strat? Lots of cool bends...... ;) B)

Daryl,

Never say never. But, you never know. Doh! I guess I said 'never', but in a good way.

It is a cool lead and you definitely make it look doable. So I'll probably give it a go, but not this year. If you could send me the tab that would be excellent. :)

In truth I haven't played much over the last couple of weeks. Work has been crazy busy and we've had a far few silly season social gettogethers too. I'm also about to travel to the other side of the country for a couple of weeks sans guitar. I'll have my Uke so if you want to set me a cool ukulele assignment I'll definitely consider that and uploading it early next year. In the meantime, I'm working on a few things that I've already made commitments to deliver. Am I CRAZY?!?! Ahhhh...well yes I am :) but... well who isn't :).

So in summary. I may just take you up on your challenge, but it won't be soon. I also suspect that it's actually NOT as easy as you make it look.

Shel

Wow, Daryl you make me wanna add the vocal to that; if I only knew how, and had a decent setup.

You made it look easier than it really is, I think.

How the heck do I send you a message? When I click the PM under your name, all I get is a blank white box.

Terry,

Like I mentioned in my response to Daryl, the PM isn't working this week. Actually, the email syste isn't working either unless it is to someone in your friend list.

I started to open a ticket and then got busy and didn't et it done.
