Nice thread, Kenny. I came to TG in February of 2009 and I joined the TARGET program the night it started. (during the first hour of that first TG LIVE I was sure that I would not join. By the last hour I had my credit card out and ready to take the plunge. Neil and Matt are great salesmen! )
What a ride! I only planned to stay until I got most of the 50 original TARGET songs down. Little did I know that Neil was about to open the floodgates with more and more lessons. It is hard to believe, even now, that list is now more than 500 songs and still growing.
One of the things I enjoyed most about the early TG days were the little contests. Congratulations again to those contest winners; (that I can remember) Chris, Al, Jason, Max.... Okay, who am I forgetting?
We have lost a few over the years, but it is amazing how many of the original TGers are still around. All great people! As others have said, I can't thank Neil Hogan and Matt Williams enough for this wonderful site.

Chris, I pretty sure that Chas is at the top of the list. He was here when I arrived. As a matter of fact, I think he was floating around in cyberspace and Neil and Matt had to move him around many times so they could build the site around him. :laugh:

I don't doubt that for a minute Bill!! But Chas has to show up to get himself logged as the OLDest member. Neil did say recently that Chas was his oldest non-student

I remember those days before target, the site was terrible to navigate, It was Neil himself sorting my problems with signing up, and then ..
A notice that said something big is about to happen.. OHHH how I sat and speculated.. And then the LONGGG First Live Video,,
God I was so excited if it had lasted any longer
It's been a ball, Ive made friends with so many lovely people
Im not as active as late cos Ive been working back to where I was before my accident, well Im there so maybe you may see me soon on vid,
Now must start thinking of my new hat

Never regretted it! Before TG I had signed up at 'workshoplive', I definitely learned a few things, but it was the most boring site ever.....was I excited to bump into Neil!! :cheer:
