Scott and Vanessa you both sound so good playing guitar together. Wow Scott I love your finger picking ability. You sound great. Of course Vanessa is an expert already and has such a pretty voice. You guys make a great team

Well now, looky there, she exposed me. I have to say that this was a lot of fun. I am not surprised by the intense expressions on my face while I was playing. That in itself is quite hilarious. My wife asked if I thought I could ever smile while playing? Maybe someday I suppose. :)

But these songs were a test of sorts for me, and I was really comfortable playing with my friend, Vanessa. She really put me at ease. Something that I'm proud of here, is that both of these songs were UN-rehearsed and these were the only takes, (some mistakes included). Too bad I didn't feel so good about my open mic debut, but I know I can play Signe, (just obviously not in front of anyone).

Thanks everyone for the kind words, and special thanks to Corina and Vanessa for helping me accomplish something new. May there be many more.

Scott

PS, I first saw this post on my Ipad, and I could not access the videos. So the apple demon must have got me.

Scott and Vanessa,
You two made me so happy! Just love hearing guitars play together, and especially the connection between the people playing.
Thanks so much for sharing this!
Now, I have two more songs that I need to learn.

Funny you should mention my shoulder Pierre. The second thing I noticed (after my intense face) was how my arm has slipped down around the end of my guitar,(really poor form) just from playing with acute pain for several years. I have to try to work it back up.

And thanks for the nice comment.

Very nice indeed guys! You got me from the get go with If I could Read Your Mind, of course! Very nice picking Scott!
Is there a better way to spend your time than playing with a friend?

Interesting to hear the OS7 problems... so I am right not to update my iPhone yet... not that I can as its asking me to clear another 2.9 gigs to even have space for it, so once I do the update my phone will not have any space to operate any way, so I'll just leave it...

Same thing here. The videos keep appearing and then disappearing and when they are there, I press "play" and I only get sound along with a black box. Is it the new IOS?
