TG started our International Guitar Camp in 2013 and now are hosting two each year, our Spring Camp at the end of April and our Fall Camp in early September.

I'd love to do that MJ and maybe there will be a chance in the future. Right now my life in not very planable. But I did visit my BSG which is reserved and waiting for me at Die Gitarre in Winterthur and I am looking forward to the day she comes home with me ;-). It would make a great travelling companion to the west coast!

That is a bummer.... :(

I was hoping you would be one of the attendees in 2014. You really do need to make a West Coast tour, my friend.... ;) Even if it is not for an IGC, there is always music, drinks and good cheer.... B)

Very understandable. Life can be quite hectic these days. If that trip to the west coast ever happens, make sure to look me up. I also have long term intentions to visit the family town in Switzerland some day. The pics of Tocino Valley are wonderful, and some family members have offered to put us up for a short time if we come to visit.....

Just make sure you buy an extra lefty to have available when I show up with a bottle of wine...lol ;)

Just an FYI on this date… This is the same weekend as "Winfield", the Walnut Valley Guitar Festival which many guitarists attend religiously. I was planning on attending WV Fest this year and I am bummed because I now have to choose. I wanted to do both!

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the heads up but unfortunately there are way too many things we need to try to synchronize to avoid almost any date. I hope you will join us this year and maybe next year they won't coincide.

Neil

P.S. On a strange side note, Tommy Emmanuel did a workshop last year at Keith Holland's Woodshed, a place generally way too small for him. It was during the Super Bowl and still sold out to 40 lucky souls who made the decision.

Wow Neil, you start dropping that name, and you'll sell out quickly too. :)

Tommy will not be involved. I certainly did not mean to drop that hint. The general feedback was less flash and more time to digest. That is Plan A as of now.

Got it. I didn't think he would be involved, just stirring the pot.
