Standing in the coffee queue. :)

Glad to offer a little cultural diversity Sandy and to make you grin of course. I'd LOVE to hear you say "Bloody hell MATE!" with gusto. I hope to join the fun and attend an IGC someday. I'll be asking for a rendition then. You can practice in the meanwhile. :) :P :) or perhaps you could deliver a rousing "Bloody hell mate!" In a fly on the wall with Neil ( together perhaps :) ) or your next video upload. Go for it! :) :) :)

Thanks Michelle

I'm inspired now. Perhaps I could even write a song. What a great title: BLOODY HELL MATE. Tom N. is the resident lyricist(is that a word :) ) on this web site. I'll try and enlist his expertise in this song writing adventure. Thanks for the fun Michelle. I really hope you do come to IGC. We would all have such a great time and lots of laughs. Of course you would have to suffer open mic night along with the rest of us.

I LOVE your thinking Sandy! I think there's a potential for a hit song there. It could make an EXCELLENT drinking song and I'm hearing a rousing group chorus of "Blood hell mate!" at regular intervals throughout the song. It might work at the footy too depending on the lyrics of course. :) :) :)

Laughs indeed! Have a few for me at the IGC. I'm dead envious of the fun you'll have.

Well I'm sure my knees would be knocking getting up for the Open mic, but the suffering would be well worth the enjoyment I'd get from being there and seeing y'all perform.
Later alligator. :)

Hmm, food for thought, Walt. Let's try an experiment ?

To be, or not to be  --that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer :woohoo:
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune :(
Or to take arms  against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them. :)

... well, the jury's still out, I guess :silly:

Ugghh ... must resist urge to post VERY vulgar drinking song, which would be a total stink-bomb, and cause this thread to crash and burn ... aarrgh !
Whew, that was a close one ! :side: Sorry for the disturbance, you may now carry on, please.

Ok Tom and Michelle

Bloody hell it is. I've never written a drinking song before. Come to think of it I've never written any song before. But your right Tom. Bloody hell mate. Never say never :) I'm planning to finger pick unless you guys want to strum. Please feel free to write the lyrics and join in on the music. I'm thinking lots of minor chords just to make it Erie or Maybe it just needs to be loud and boisterous. Let me know mates.

Sandy

Oops I just read cosmic mechanics response to our great idea. Ouch, I think we just got the wet blanket treatment. Hmmmmm. Is bloody hell a bad word?. :(

I vote for loud and boisterous. But I could change my mind once I've heard your minor-sounding fingerpicking version I'm sure. :) I'm happy to join in on the chorus if you need and to try my hand at a beefy (or sad) bass line. :) Get sketching Sandy. This could be another genuine TG collaboration. :) :) who knows?! It could end up being taught by one of the TG gurus and end up as fresh new material for the library.

Happy to collaborate now get those ideas down woman. :) :)

See inspiration comes from all sorts of places, even the rantings of a cross woman from down under as she battled to wake up and comprehend the latest forum debate.

No way. Pierre wasn't dis-ing your idea. He can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he was just imaging a lude version.

Bad word? Well it's cursing to be sure, but it's not that heavy and I don't imagine anyone (well very few) would be offended at hearing it. As always it's the intent behind your words and the delivery. You can actually use it in quite a jovial way too.

You're right as usual Michelle

Never under estimate the power of a crazed female. Not too many people want to go there. Especially guys. They all know better.

I guess I could leave out the term hell and just write a song about a bloody mate but that might change the subject matter from mere drinking to some form of death. That would definitely require some depressing minor chords. I'll have to think about this. Perhaps Pierre could weigh in as well. :) we don't want to offend the masses.

Sandy
