Have a question

TG started our International Guitar Camp in 2013 and now are hosting two each year, our Spring Camp at the end of April and our Fall Camp in early September.

One more thing, I'm thinking of starting a Guitar Pick trade.

This means you bring extra guitar pick and everyone that wants to trade give them one.

Currently i use Max grip Donlop .73 MM picks. If anyone wants one let me know

I've been looking at flights and wondering what airport to fly into. San Francisco or San Jose.
I'm planning on leaving early Wednesday morning from Boston. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Bob

Hi Bob,

My flying experiences are almost 10 years past, but San Jose is closer, and less busy then San Francisco. However, may not be as inexpensive.

Bob:

Tom is right. San Jose is closer. You might check with some of the others to see what their arrival times are. I will be picking Rick (BigBear) up in San Jose. I think he might be flying in on Tuesday though. We will probably cruise around on Wednesday so if you get your info together, make sure to let us know. I will try to help in any way I can. Last year folks started to post their arrival times, and were offering up rides. I picked Rick up last year too, and then dropped Wiley and him back off on Monday morning before heading back home. I think I will be heading up Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning early and then heading out Sunday afternoon. Keep us posted on your itinerary... ;)

Thanks,

I'll have to start checking on San Jose flights then.

Bob

Hi Jason,
Thanks. Once I get my info I'll be sure to post it. I'm really looking forward to this although I don't want to rush the summer

Same here. I am so ready for summer. I can already hear the Sierras calling my name. I am hoping to get up there early this year before it dries out too much due to our drought here in California. There are lots of streams with trout waiting to be reaped...

I am very glad you will be attending this year. You won't be disappointed. It truly is a great time with some pretty amazing people. Enjoy your summer, but keep your callouses in shape.... ;)

Hi Jason,

I spent time today looking for flights and can't find a non-stop that doesn't change planes from Boston to San Jose at least once. I don't mind the non-stop so much and that it is a bit more expensive, about $120 bucks, but changing planes with the guitar might suck. I checked the San Francisco flights and I can get a non-stop and cheaper too. I know it is closer to the camp from San Jose and I appreciate your help here, but I think San Francisco is going to work better for me. From what I have found it is about 45 minutes from San Jose and 1 1/4 hours from San Francisco. Now I just need to rent a vehicle.

Thanks for taking time to read this
Bob
