The Beatles song "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" has a line - "Feeling two foot small", I associated that with the Go Ask Alice lyrics of "One pill makes you smaller" and "Go ask Alice, when she was just small". Certainly a stretch, but when I get on the board I feel I have to answer with something, and going through one songs lyrics can sometimes bring up an obscure reference, when you are otherwise lost for a response.

I've Just Seen a Face - The Beatles (off the Rubber SOUL album) ;)

Max, "Go Ask Alice" -> "I've Seen All Good People" both had lyrics that referenced chess and queens. And I believe MarkM's "Send in the Clowns" -> "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" was because of the line "gather round all you clowns".
