Taking a Master Class from Neil

TG started our International Guitar Camp in 2013 and now are hosting two each year, our Spring Camp at the end of April and our Fall Camp in early September.

Hi IGC-attendees,

I've been wondering who is considering to take a Master Class from Neil at IGC 2014.

It basically means having a one on one lesson with Neil in front of the whole class, like a FOTW in public.

Personally I'd say, TAKE such a fantastic opportunity, although I can imagine that some feel shy, not competent enough, insecure or whatever.

Still it'll likely improve anyone's playing and you'll likely be able to take your guitarplaying to the next level. And of course everyone benefits from Neil's expert instructions! ;)

So who is considering, or has deciced to volunteer??? :)

First I had heard of that format, but it sounds intriguing. Would the topic be open to the person taking the class, or would it be a pre-determined topic? Just curious.

Thanks,
Jason

I'd be happy to take a FOTW style master class from the Maestro whilst I'm over. I did try to arrange one in March, but Neil had gone walkabout! :)

Cheers

Andy,

I'm really sorry our schedules didn't work out and thanks for volunteering. The master class format is done in the classical world all the time. My idea for the IGC is to try to squeeze in as many people as possible, figuring 15-20 minutes or so each over about a 2 hour block that everyone could attend. The student could really go anywhere they want with whatever they might need help with. This would probably happen on multiple days as well.

Maybe we need to start a sign up list.
