Hi Everyone,

Well it's about time we resurrected this thread. So I thought I'd add a song before 2014 ends for me, which is less than 2 hours away.

Sorry the sound quality isn't great (which seems to be even more blurry on youtube). Some alien force seems to be doing strange things with my face again too. No time to redo...

So here's a rendition of Iron and Wine's Naked As We Came. It is essentially 3 chords with a moving bass line. i think it's beautiful, very cool and it's fun to play. One day I'd learn the words by heart. :)

If you'd like to learn it, check out Vanessa's fantastic lesson.

Happy New Year! Anyone else want to sneak in some eleventh hour uploads for 2014?

Shel

I tried to use the busking video uploader, but no joy there.

Well done Michele, it's still going to be 2014 for another three hours where I am, but happy new year to you. Great post!

Thanks Guys. It's was fun getting it posted before my New Year started. And it's been SO heart warming reading your comments. It's started my 2015 off with positive energy. Thank you.

Daryl - given what a good player you are, your comment really made me feel good. Thanks. I'm of course hoping you might kick off your 2015 resolution real soon. Maybe we'll see you here in this monster thread. :)

Chris - thanks! I wasn't so sure about the singing. I'm really out of practice. So that was especially nice to hear from you. Want to play? :)

Jason - thanks! It's a pretty straightforward piece and great fun to play. If you haven't started Nessa's lesson yet, give it a go, you'd love it. It comes together pretty quickly.

Willem - I'm glad you liked it. I intend to keep it going and make it part of my repertoire. I imagine you're in bed unless you're a REAL party animal. Happy 2015 to you.

Jim - hey my class buddy. I hope you're playing up a storm.

Craig - thanks! All aspect. Woo hoo! :)

Bob - thanks! Tempted to add to this thread? Don't resist.

Tom - thanks! I definitely hope to see more posts from you and Claire in 2015.

Who's up next? :)
