Hi Friends!!
I hope I am posting this in the right spot- I finally got a half decent video of this Pete Huttlinger arrangement of Turlough O'Carolyn's old Celtic tune, Si Bheag, Si Mhor, and I wanted to share it with you. It's in DADGAD, on my GSMini w/Elixir Lights. And I have no clue what the title means, ha!!

BTW I am STILL in withdrawal from IGC 2017. I can't wait for next time, hoping to get the vacation time approved for 2018

Sí Bheag, Sí Mhor", the background tune, was the first song written by Turlough O'Carolan (1670 - 1738). The gist of the song is that a great contention arose between the rival queens (of Shebeg and Shemore). They first engage in verbal warfare, each claiming superiority over the other. Then ensues a battle between their partisans, fought on the plain between Shebeg and Shemore, the like of which has not been seen since Troy. Finally a truce is called, in view of the hostile approach of the faerie hosts of two neighbouring hills and the two sides unite in face of the common danger."
