Chas - Thanks mate. it's an easy instrument to get into. Got UAS yet? I spy a place on you wall (or two) where it would be just perfect. It does sound nice I think and as you'd expect the sound is improving as I'm playing it. Of course that could also be because my fingers are adapting too. I think you'd like playing a ukulele, and it's probably not too different from the contortions that your fingers are currently doing for the mandolin.
Willem - I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for commenting, sounds like you had a great night. I loved your Elvis number, it sounded very cool. I hope you get your ukulele soon so you can add a song ot this thread.
Marc - Thanks! You're so sweet. I'm sure it's possible to rock out on a uke. I'd love to see you try. I wonder if Jethro Tull ever used a ukulele in their songs? I'm not sure how I teased you at the end. Perhaps you mean how I stumbled at the end and then cracked up. I kept doing that so I just figured I'd post it anyway.
Chris - Thanks Chris, coming from you that means a lot to me! It is fun. The strings are nylon and you don't need a pick so it's right down your alley. I'm glad it made you smile. That's the idea.
Suzi - You wowed me with your WOW woman, thanks!

Daryl - Thank you!
Nessa No uke in the house, what???? So many guitars and other instruments and no uke???? Are you sure??? Hmmm... Maybe you could borrow one. You're not holding out on us are you? You know I bet that music stores in Holland have them. And thanks!!! I'm really glad you liked it. You thinking it's 'super cool' is just fabulous and makes my evening big time. B)

Ken - thanks. As a guitar player I think you'll find the ukulele easier than you expect. You fingers just adjust. It's a lot of fun too. I hope you are thinking about adding a song, even if you have to go out and get a uke first. Thanks.
Jay - thanks! Man you would have a ball with this. Finger picking is fun and sounds good. It si fun and I'm finding that it does help with the guitar too, even if switching back feels strange.
Thanks everyone. You're all so sweet.
